Erion Isai under investigation over 4 tenders / Company administrator certified works on the Korçë-Ersekë road

Erion Isai, mayor of Kolonjë, is now under investigation by the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) on suspicion of abuse of office in connection with four public procurements.

According to information obtained by Ora News, two of these cases involve a complaint filed by lawyer Esmerald Xhafa and another concerning the rehabilitation of a water supply network.

Data indicate that the key figure in the public procurements of the Kolonjë municipality is Entela Çano. She is suspected of having close ties with the mayor and benefiting from public tenders.

Investigations led by prosecutor Dritan Prençi reveal that Çano not only won a public tender but also secured the right to supervise the works, raising concerns of a conflict of interest. As a result, she faces criminal liability for falsification of documents.

Entela Çano is listed as the administrator and owner of the supervisory company A&A ENGINEERING sh.p.k. Records also show that her company oversaw works on the Korçë-Ersekë road, ensuring quality control, while the construction firm A.N.K, owned by Agim Kola—the brother of former MP Ndue Kola—carried out the project.

Ora News contacted Erion Isai’s lawyer, but he declined to comment on the accusations against his client.
