Ermir Rashica explains why he’s not part of the national team

Ermir Rashica, one of the promising talents of Albanian football, is currently playing for the team “Metallist 1925” after his departure from Skënderbeu. Speaking to “Korça Boom,” he responded to the question:

Have you adapted to the team, and how do you feel?

His answer: “I feel very good. I’ve fully adapted in every aspect with the team, both on and off the field. This is a very important part of my relationship with the club. I can say that we have a great atmosphere in the squad, and we’re highly motivated for the matches ahead.”

What draws attention, however, is the fact that he has yet to receive a call-up to the national team. On this matter, Rashica stated: “I haven’t gone for several reasons.”

This is a response that, apparently, only Rashica and the team’s management are aware of. Still, we hope that, given his talent, this footballer will soon be seen shining at the highest level—whether with his current club or as part of our national team.
