The Skënderbeu team has completed its preparatory phase and is ready to kick off the new football season. The opening match will be played tomorrow at home, where Skënderbeu will host Burreli in a clash eagerly awaited by local fans.

Coach Ernest Gjoka stated that the core of the squad will mainly consist of last season’s players, ensuring continuity within the base group. However, the team will face a significant absence at the start of the championship.

Striker Bismark, according to the coach, is injured and will not be available for the match against Burreli. The injury reportedly stems from an issue sustained while he was still part of Vllaznia during their European fixtures.
