EXCLUSIVE: Unexpected twist for the planned Skënderbeu–Luftëtari friendly!

As part of their preparations for the new season, Skënderbeu has so far played four friendly matches against Struga, Besa, Pogradeci, and Vora.

A friendly match with Luftëtari had been scheduled for Tuesday, but it will no longer take place. The reason is that Luftëtari has returned to Gjirokastër, ending their training camp in Ersekë earlier than planned.

This change of plans for the Gjirokastër side meant Skënderbeu was informed the match would not be played.

Skënderbeu is now looking for one or two other opponents for friendlies to be held before August 23, when the new football season kicks off.
