Farewell to comedy icon Todi Llupi!

Albanian art and culture have lost one of their most beloved figures. Well-known actor and comedian Todi Llupi, the icon of the Fier Comedy Theatre and one of the most prominent names in Albanian humor, has passed away.
With a career spanning more than five decades, Todi Llupi left behind a valuable legacy on the Albanian stage. Through his humorous roles, authentic characters, and masterful use of the Myzeqe dialect, he won the hearts of audiences and became a symbol of Albanian comedy.
He joined the Fier Comedy Theatre in 1971, where he built a successful career, while also appearing in several feature films. His roles remain among the most beloved by the public and will be remembered as an important part of the history of Albanian humor.
In 1989, Todi Llupi was awarded the title “Merited Artist” in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Albanian art and culture.
