First Devision: Surprise results and standings after matchweek 9

Week 9 of First Devision has concluded with interesting matches and some surprising results that have affected the league standings. Skënderbeu suffered their first defeat of the season, but despite this, they remain at the top of the table.

In Krujë, Kastrioti secured a spectacular 3-2 victory over the Korçë team, handing them their first loss after eight unbeaten weeks. The Krutan players showed character and attacking efficiency, moving away from the bottom of the table and gaining an important boost for the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, Laçi could only manage a goalless draw (0-0) away against Luftëtari, missing the chance to get closer to the top. However, the Kurbinas remain in second place, two points ahead of their nearest competitor, Pogradeci.

Pogradeci recorded another valuable win, defeating Korabi 2-1 away. This victory lifts Pogradeci to third place, confirming the good form of the squad under their ambitious coach.

In Kavajë, Besa triumphed 3-1 against Kukësi, continuing their positive home streak, while the match between Burreli and Lushnja ended in a goalless draw, with both teams taking a single point.

In matches played a day earlier, Apolonia and Iliria also shared the points, drawing 0-0 in Fier.
