FIRST DIVISION STANDINGS/ The three contenders hold their ground

Apolonia and Lushnja played yesterday the final match of the 19th week of the First Category. The game ended in a goalless draw in Fier.

Apolonia holds eighth place with the same number of points as Korabi. Lushnja, with three points less than the two teams, is in tenth place.

Skënderbeu continues to lead with five points more than Laçi. Laçi has three points more than Pogradeci, which is fighting for one of the two top spots that secure promotion to the Superiore. The “play-off” zone includes Kastrioti, Burreli, and Besa.

The two teams at the bottom are currently Luftëtari and Kukësi. The northeastern team is 11 points away from the “play-out” zone, and their hopes of survival are fading further.
