Football referees with a new look – AFF’s decision for a more dignified appearance on the field

The Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Federation (AFF) has approved a new decision regarding the appearance of referees during matches. According to this decision, all football referees in the country will have a new look, with upgraded uniforms and improved standards, aiming to enhance their dignity and professionalism on the field.

The decision seeks not only to improve the visual aspect but also to strengthen the authority of referees in managing matches. The new uniforms will align with the most advanced models and practices of European countries, bringing Albanian football even closer to international standards.

The Federation has considered this step as a way to improve the overall image of refereeing in Albania and to emphasize the importance of referees' behavior, presentation, and professionalism for the proper conduct of every match.

In the coming months, the official presentation of the referees' new look is expected, along with training sessions focusing on ethics and conduct on the field. This decision is set to take effect at the beginning of the next football season.
