Former captain Elena Bego: “Thank you, Skënderbe, for every tear and joy”

Maybe it’s very difficult to explain in words the feeling of leaving you after so many years we have spent together. Beautiful years, tough moments, often very sad ones too, but I never left you stranded.

From the beginning of this magnificent project, it was an honor and a privilege for me to be part of it as a player and captain in bringing back success.

Ten trophies and many medals – every red and white moment held indescribable emotions for me. You will always have a special place in my heart and in my life.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this beautiful journey: the management staff, the coaches we worked with, the workers at the palace who were with us at every training session.

Thank you, teammates, who made my career unique every year.

And thank you, the best fans, who believed in me, in Skënderbeu, and in our success every single moment.
