Goalkeeper Qirjako Gjergo was also the protagonist in the victory of the veterans' match. So much joy for the "keeper"

There were years that another name of Korčar football was missing from the green fields. It is about a well-known name of the red and white gate, such as Qirjako Gjergo. In the southeastern city, the fans know him very well, also for his popularity, while Gjergo reappeared after so many years on the field.

This photo you see below is from the veterans tournament, where Skenderbeu, Kosturi and Elbasan participated. Gjergo was the starting goalkeeper and showed good sportsmanship on the field even though the years take their toll.

The applause showed that this goalkeeper is also missed by the fans and in the end Skënderbeu deserved the winner's trophy. Although there were many older players in that tournament, they all left it to Gjergos, the goalkeeper who in this photo has the Federation official, Renato Rapo, and the Greek Consul in Korça on his side.
