Following Gjest’s statements that he is facing unfair treatment and will not release new projects for an indefinite period due to issues with his previous distributor, a response has come from the other party involved in the matter.
Erkand Shabani, head of the platform “Onima,” publicly expressed “deep regret” over what he describes as “false news” spread by the artist and his management.
According to Shabani, the conflict stems from Gjesti’s request to be released from the contract for the distribution and monetization of his artistic works a agreement that, according to Onima, was signed voluntarily and remains legally valid.
The response notes that the request to terminate the contract is based on a personal interpretation by Gjesti and his team, which contradicts the content of the existing agreement.
