“Goodbye, Geni!”

There are some losses that you feel even when they are not close to you. The loss of Geni was one of those that makes you hold your breath, become deeply sad, and raise the big questions about life, reason and meaning, the order of things, time, and humanity.

In those moments, there is something almost divine that settles among us and makes us think more about goodness and what we share together, in the face of death that we always forget is so close.

For those brief moments, everyone becomes better.

But there are some special people, like Geni, who choose to be good all the time, not out of fear, but out of love for humanity.
