Gena and Rovena Dilo are bringing a duet to this year’s 'Kënga Magjike', but many people think it is a Greek song. Guest on the show 'Më prit të dielën', singer Gena clarified that the collaboration, titled “AND”, is entirely based on Albanian motifs.

“This is not a Greek song. Who is lying to people? The song is 100% Albanian. It has a 2/4 rhythm, which influences its feel. If this song had a different rhythm, it would sound 100% Albanian. Last year’s song was beautiful, and I congratulate both Rozi and Sani, but it had Greek motifs. It started from the very beginning with the sound of the bouzouki, and half of the song was in Greek.”

Regarding the competition, he said he intends to compete seriously, emphasizing that there are no friends in festivals, so he is confident that there will be no favoritism in the voting.
