Hospitalized shortly before the match against Serbia

Sources close to the medical staff of the National Team report that the player exhibited symptoms such as high fever, physical exhaustion, and weakness, which led doctors to send him for specialized treatment at a healthcare center. Although it is not considered a serious medical issue, his condition has raised alarm bells ahead of one of Albania's most important matches in this phase of the qualifiers.

Manaj’s condition is being closely monitored by the national team’s staff, with hopes that he will recover in time to be available for coach Sylvinho.
