“I felt bad when they asked me about marriage,” Anxhela Peristeri: I have been betrayed

Anxhela Peristeri spoke in an interview about her personal life, unspoken love, and relationships. She revealed that questions about marriage used to bother her more in the past, but now she handles them with much more calm. According to her, such questions often come from people’s curiosity and care, not from ill intentions.

Regarding betrayal, Anxhela shared that she has experienced it, not only in her romantic relationships but also from society.

“I used to feel a bit bad when asked about marriage, but now I don’t feel anything at all. Many Albanians ask this question out of love, not malice. Things that impress you at 20 or 25 don’t affect you the same way at 40,” the singer said.

“They have betrayed me. I think betrayal happens when you’re not happy. There is also social betrayal. Society has betrayed me a lot. They haven’t done anything too serious.

I speak with all artists. I have never ruined a relationship. Even when I notice a ‘trick’ being played on me, I don’t give it much importance,” she added.

“I still haven’t worn the white dress,” the singer concluded.
