“I’m going to marry off my daughter, I’m happy,” — the last conversation of Judge Kalaja before he was killed has been revealed.

The murder of Judge Astrit Kalaja, who was shot with a firearm by 30-year-old Elvis Shkambi inside the Court of Appeals, shocked public opinion.

A fellow judge told *Top Channel* journalist Anila Hoxha about his last conversation with Kalaja, just before the hearing that would tragically be his last.

“I’m marrying off my daughter and I’m happy. I can’t wait for that day,” were the judge’s words.

There are discussions that the funeral ceremony for the judge, who was killed in the line of duty, may be held as a state ceremony on Wednesday.
