It’s now official: Skënderbeu’s women’s volleyball team is without a coach

Following the resignation of head coach Ornaldo Koja, the team has yet to appoint a replacement for the upcoming season. The club has not issued any statement regarding who will take over the leadership of the team.

Naturally, a few names have been rumored, but no decision has been made. Meanwhile, part of the squad that remains in Korça is currently training under assistant coach Eriols Haxhillari, mainly due to the contractual obligation to continue player payments until the end of this month.

While other teams are already shaping their squads and confirming their coaches, this is not the case in Korça.

It’s unclear what the delay is or what the club is waiting for. Time is flying, and preparations need to begin, especially since this season’s competition is expected to be intense. According to sources, at least four teams will be aiming for the championship title.
