Kim Jong Un has threatened North Korean women who undergo breast enlargement procedures.

The dictator ordered his subordinates to monitor women with large breasts, declaring that breast implants are non-socialist and “bourgeois.”

He issued this order during a trial of two women in their twenties, who were accused of having undergone breast augmentation by an underground surgeon.

Members of the Communist Party in Sariwon, where the trial took place, were instructed to carry out physical examinations of women suspected of breast enlargement.

According to the regime, the concern is that women are being tainted by bourgeois habits and engaging in corrupt capitalist behavior.

Women will reportedly be forcibly taken to hospitals for inspection and threatened with harsh punishment if found with implants, according to South Korean media outlet Daily NK.

Breast augmentation is illegal in North Korea, but interest in secret procedures is growing.

Two women were publicly exposed in last week’s trial, along with the doctor accused of performing the surgeries. He is said to have dropped out of medical school and entered the world of illegal implants but was caught offering plastic surgery during a covert operation at his home.

Imported silicone implants from China, surgical instruments, and large sums of money were presented as evidence in court.

The women are being publicly shamed in the highly publicized trial, likely as a warning to other North Korean women not to seek similar procedures.

Prosecutors stated: “Women living in a socialist system have been stained by bourgeois habits and are engaging in rotten capitalist behavior.”

The two women said they underwent the procedure to improve their bodies, but the judge dismissed this justification.

During the trial, it also emerged that the public security department had already begun conducting public checks on women suspected of having breast implants.

A plan was drawn up for neighborhood leaders to identify women with visible physical changes and then take them to hospitals for examination.

Breast augmentation is reported to have surged in popularity this summer in North Korea.

A task force has been established with the goal of “eradicating anti-socialist acts,” with a mission to catch offenders.
