Landslide on the Librazhd–Pogradec road, traffic blocked for heavy vehicles and buses

The situation on the Librazhd–Pogradec road, at the location known as “Arrat e Gurrës,” has worsened in recent hours due to a landslide, creating a risk for vehicle traffic.

The Albanian Road Authority (ARA), following on-site inspections and in coordination with the Albanian State Police, has decided to temporarily suspend traffic for heavy vehicles and buses on this road segment until further notice, for safety reasons.

According to ARA, the measure has been taken to prevent potential risks to drivers and to ensure the safety of road users amid the worsening conditions in the area affected by the landslide.

Authorities are calling on heavy vehicle drivers and transport operators to avoid this route and use alternative roads until the situation is fully stabilized.
