National team footballer injured after crashing into advertising boards, currently hospitalized

A serious incident occurred a few days ago in Chinese football, where midfielder Samuel Asamoah, a player for the Togo national team and Guangzhi Pinguo, is in critical condition following a severe on-field accident.

During a challenge for the ball, Asamoah collided with an opposing player and was pushed into the advertising boards at the side of the pitch. He hit his head and collapsed to the ground, motionless. Immediate medical assistance was provided on the field before he was rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

Doctors have confirmed that the midfielder suffered spinal and neck fractures, with very serious consequences. His condition is critical, posing a life-threatening risk and the possibility of permanent paralysis.
