26-year-old injured in shooting / Police identify the suspect, names revealed

A 26-year-old man was injured with a sharp object on Sunday evening in the former Park area of Tirana, following a dispute over trivial motives.

The incident occurred at around 7:45 p.m.

The injured man, Fabian Pitani, was stabbed during the altercation. He was taken to hospital and is reportedly out of danger.

Following the report, officers from Police Station No. 2 arrived at the scene and launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Police later identified and escorted Eduard Pelushi (Selmani), 53, who is suspected of carrying out the attack. The investigative team is continuing its work to fully document the incident and determine legal responsibility.
