Several theft cases uncovered / Young man arrested

The services of the Shkodër Police Commissariat, following investigative actions aimed at uncovering theft cases and identifying and apprehending those responsible, successfully concluded the police operation codenamed “Recently,” during which the following individual was arrested:

* Xh. Rr., 20, resident of the village of Grudë e Re, Shkodër.

Investigations indicate that the 20-year-old, in cooperation with a minor, allegedly committed several thefts at different times in the city of Shkodër and in Velipojë, specifically involving motor vehicles, an electric bicycle, a mobile phone, and a sum of money taken from a café.

The motor vehicles were recovered and seized as material evidence.

During a search of the 20-year-old’s home, police officers also found and seized, as material evidence, a quantity of suspected Cannabis sativa.

Investigations are ongoing to uncover any other thefts that the arrested individual may have committed.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Shkodër for further action.
