Nearly 5 kg of dr*gs brought from America to be sold in Albania, name of 20-year-old arrested revealed

As part of ongoing operations targeting cases involving the trafficking of Cannabis Sativa with a high THC content, the Narcotics Investigation Section, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office and in cooperation with the “Transit Center” branch of the Albanian Post, has concluded a police operation codenamed “Delivery.”

As part of the operation, following an investigation into the case, authorities identified 20-year-old Dorian Sinani, a resident of Bathore, as the person who ordered a package containing 4 kilograms and 641 grams of cannabis with a high THC content, suspected to have been trafficked from the United States. Following the necessary procedural steps, the 20-year-old was arrested by police officers.

The package, which contained eight parcels of suspected cannabis, with a total weight of 4 kilograms and 641 grams, was seized as material evidence.

Police are continuing their work to identify other individuals involved in this criminal activity. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
