OFFICIAL/ RDPE Korçë: Only 740 fewer students this year. Here are the official figures!

The Regional Directorate of Education of Korçë has published the official enrollment figures for the new school year, confirming a noticeable decrease in the total number of students. According to the data, 19,340 students have enrolled this year, representing a drop of 740 students compared to last year.

In the first grade, 1,430 students have been registered, while 1,540 students will attend the tenth grade in high schools across the district.

Despite this decline in student numbers, the Directorate of Education reports that no teachers have left the system. This is thanks to the expansion of the support structure within schools, with new roles added such as assistant teachers, coordinators, security officers, teachers on standby, and other supporting positions aimed at improving the quality of education and providing better support for students.

All schools are covered by psychosocial services.
