Today, on July 1, the “Day of Satrivac” is celebrated, honoring the Holy Place in the village of Hoçisht, where thousands of believers gather from Albania and beyond.
This “Blessed Place” has a very special history, as it commemorates the Holy Healers, Saint Damian and Saint Cosmas, who dedicated their lives to healing the sick and those in need.
Every July 1, Satrivac becomes a pilgrimage site for people of different faiths. Some come to pray, some spend the night there, and others seek healing and spiritual peace.
It is said that after prayers, devotion to God, or spending the night there, many people have felt spiritually relieved and physically healed.
