Over 1 meter of water in the underpass, driver rescued at the last moment

Heavy rainfall over the past hours has caused serious flooding in the Mamurras underpass, which has filled with over 1 meter of water.
Due to the lack of any drainage or sewer system, water accumulated quickly, blocking several vehicles. Footage shows a car almost completely submerged, while the driver managed to escape only thanks to the help of a nearby citizen.
Currently, traffic in this underpass has been stopped, as the situation is considered dangerous and out of control. Authorities are working to restore normal conditions.
