Over 7,000 kg of expired flour blocked at customs

The Customs Branch, during a physical inspection at the premises of a commercial entity authorized to use the Inward Processing Regime, blocked goods that had exceeded their expiration date.

Customs officers seized 2,500 kg of rice flour with an expiration date of 01.04.2025 and 5,150 kg of pizza flour with an expiration date of 07.04.2025.

Durrës Customs has initiated procedures, in cooperation with the structures of the National Food Authority, within their respective competencies, up to the destruction of the goods.
