POGRADECI after Laçi now wants Skënderbeu’s “head”/ Captain Zguro: We’ll beat Skënderbeu too

The captain of Pogradeci, Vangjel Zguro, was among the happiest after the victory against Laçi in the 3rd round, and in his statement he appeared determined about the team’s season objectives.

“It was a match we valued 100%, as Laçi came after two consecutive wins and we knew maximum concentration was needed. We have a very experienced team and we know how to handle the opponent’s pressure. I assure you that Pogradeci will never be a team to be beaten,” said Zguro.

The lake-side captain added that the squad is motivated and hungry for victory also on Friday, the day they will host Skënderbeu in Pogradec: “I hope we continue like this against Skënderbeu as well, in what will be a southeastern derby.

We have played three matches and we are the only team that hasn’t conceded a single goal. Our ambitions are clear, and what we didn’t achieve last season, this year we will make it a reality.”
