POLICE / A 17-year-old thief who committed two thefts in Korçë is caught. A 35-year-old wanted in Korçë for threatening someone over owed money

Following the information provided on November 28, 2025, regarding the issuance of a search warrant for a 17-year-old suspected of committing thefts at two establishments in the city of Korçë, we inform that specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit of the Korçë Police Station have apprehended the 17-year-old, a resident of Korçë, for whom proceedings had initially started while he was free. Investigations also indicate that this individual is suspected of stealing a sum of money from a shop in Tirana.

Additionally, materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, and a 35-year-old citizen, N. D., was placed on the wanted list, as he is suspected of threatening an 18-year-old via cellphone over a sum of money owed to him.

The services of the Pogradec Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against 38-year-old E. T., resident of Përenjas, after he was caught transporting a quantity of cut timber in violation of the law. The timber and the vehicle were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.
