The services of the Pogradec Police Commissariat referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against the following citizens:

A. M., 46 years old, resident of the village of Vërdovë, after being caught transporting about 7 m³ of illegally cut timber. The timber and the vehicle were seized as material evidence;

N. M., 41 years old, resident of the village of Gështenjas, suspected of negligently starting a fire, which, due to the spread of flames, burned an area of land with vegetation and fruit trees.

Specialists for Crime Investigation of the Local Police Directorate Korçë referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen G. K., 51 years old, resident of Peqin, for the criminal offense of “Illegal crossing of the state border.”

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Korçë, for further action.
