POLICE / Criminal proceedings in Korçë, Pogradec, Kolonjë, and Maliq. Here’s what happened!

Specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes referred case materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against S. LL., 66, residing in Pogradec, for allegedly falsifying a property certificate.

The Pogradec Police Commissariat referred case materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against F. M., 46, residing in the village of Buçimas, for obstructing traffic by parking his vehicle on white lines in Neighborhood No. 1.

The Kolonjë Police Commissariat referred case materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were opened against P. J., 29, and Dh. J., 33, for allegedly punching a 39-year-old man over trivial motives.

The Maliq Police Commissariat referred case materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against A. S., 64, residing in the village of Zvirinë, for allegedly occupying a plot of land claimed to belong to another citizen.

Yesterday, a fire reportedly started in Neighborhood No. 1, Korçë, due to a spark from an electric utility pole. As a result, a portion of land was burned.

The procedural materials of this case were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office as an accidental event.
