POLICE ANNOUNCEMENT / A 79-year-old pedestrian dies after being hit by a car on the "Korçë-Devoll" road

Around 11:45, on the "Korçë-Devoll" road near the Progrit intersection, citizen H.K., driving a vehicle, struck citizen H.R., approximately 79 years old.

As a result of the collision, H.R. lost his life at the scene. The driver has been taken to the Police Station for further procedural actions.

The investigative team is on site and, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, is working to determine the circumstances and cause of the accident.
