Police arrest 46-year-old man who traded weapons, used a taxi to avoid inspections

The “Gun Expert” police operation, conducted by Police Station No. 4 in cooperation with the Trafficking Section of the Tirana Police Department, has been finalized following special investigative methods.
During the operation, four firearms (pistols), military ammunition, cocaine, and various weapon parts were seized.
As part of the operation, a 46-year-old man, A. C., resident of Tirana, was arrested in flagrante on Dibra Street while driving a taxi. According to police, he used his taxi to avoid police inspections.
During the physical search, as well as the search of his vehicle and residence, police found and seized four firearms with military ammunition believed to have been intended for sale to criminal groups cocaine, and various weapon components.
All seized items, including the vehicle used by the suspect, were taken as material evidence.
A. C. was previously implicated in similar criminal activities. Police are continuing efforts to identify and apprehend other individuals involved in this operation.
