Rain and low temperatures return, weekly weather forecast

In a live report for Euronews Albania, meteorologist Hakil Osmani said that the weather this week will be unstable.

According to him, rain will be present mainly in coastal and central areas, while the mountainous regions are expected to see some light snowfall.

“This week, unlike other weeks in March, brings a change in atmospheric conditions.

Cloud cover will be present throughout the week, most noticeable at the beginning of the week until Thursday. Even around midday today, clouds will be visible.

On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, clouds will bring rainfall across Albania, occasionally appearing as showers in isolated areas.

In the mountainous regions, snowfall is expected again due to the drop in air temperatures, with lows reaching -2°C and highs up to 18°C.

On Friday and moving forward, weather conditions are expected to improve, along with rising temperatures.

Regarding Kosovo, North Macedonia, and the rest of the region, the beginning of the week is also expected to be unstable, with occasional rain showers.

Midweek will bring snowfall to these two countries as well, most notably in the Republic of Kosovo,” the meteorologist said.
