“Resign…”, protesters spend the night outside Rama’s office in front of the Prime Minister’s building

The protest against the government of Edi Rama has entered its 22nd day, while citizens have spent the night in front of the Prime Minister’s office.

A large group of protesters spent the entire night there, and this morning they were still gathered in front of the government building.

Around 08:06, police forces arrived and asked the protesters to leave, with the argument that they need to clear the road for vehicle traffic.

Despite the massive turnout the previous night, no incidents have been reported so far, even though citizens stayed outside overnight on the boulevard.

“Resign and oh how good it is to be Albanian, oh hey,” are the chants heard this morning at the protest.
