Samir Mane strengthens his position on the Forbes list: How much has his wealth reached?

Albanian businessman Samir Mane continues to be on the list of the world’s richest people published by the Forbes magazine, and this year he has further strengthened his position compared to a year ago.


According to the latest update from the magazine, the net worth of the founder of BALFIN Group has reached about $1.9 billion, approximately $500 million more compared to a year earlier. The published list ranks the richest people for each country in the world.


In 2025, Mane was ranked 2356th with a fortune of $1.4 billion. Now he has moved up to 2177th place. So he has climbed 179 places higher.


Meanwhile, Elon Musk remains the richest person in the world, with an estimated fortune of around $839 billion, surpassing competitors such as Google co-founder Larry Page.


The United States ranks as the country with the most billionaires, with as many as 989, while China has 610, including Zhang Yiming, co-founder of ByteDance. India has 229 billionaires, led by Mukesh Ambani. In terms of regions, the Asia-Pacific region has the most billionaires, with a total of 1,229.


This year’s list also includes powerful women in business such as Gina Rinehart in Australia (with $25.5 billion), Iris Fontbona in Chile ($52.6 billion), and pop icon Rihanna, who became a billionaire through the brands Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty.


In the world, the first and only billionaire from Afghanistan is Mirwais Azizi, with a fortune of about $1.4 billion, while Pakistan is represented by Sualeh Asif, co-founder of the AI platform Cursor.


According to Forbes, a total of 80 countries and territories have at least one billionaire citizen this year, up from 78 a year ago, showing the growth of wealth around the world. Many of these fortunes are built in various industries, from mining and maritime transport to cosmetics and banking.
