Seized 300 kilograms of explosives at customs, police provide detailsë

The Border Police in Kosovo have seized a large quantity of explosives during a routine inspection.

Customs officers selected a van-type vehicle for inspection, sending it to the second line for a detailed check as part of inter-institutional cooperation with the Border Police.

During questioning, the driver of the van stated that he was not carrying any goods to declare.

However, during the inspection, a substantial amount of explosive material was found, placed in sacks and packages weighing around 300 kilograms, which had been hidden in the vehicle’s trunk and camouflaged with fishing equipment.

The explosives were seized, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
