She fraudulently obtained 330,000 lek from postal payments using a colleague’s credentials, employee faces consequences

Elbasan police have referred materials regarding a postal branch employee accused of embezzling funds from the institution.

Official sources from the police reported that the individual, identified by the initials E.Rr., is suspected of misappropriating 330,000 lek from postal payments by accessing the institution’s electronic system using a colleague’s credentials.

“Specialists in the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes referred the case to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against E. Rr., 48, an employee of the Elbasan postal branch, for allegedly embezzling 330,000 lek from postal payments by operating in the institution’s electronic system using a colleague’s credentials,” the police stated.
