Skënderbeu: Anti-Burreli week starts today. Here are the first two weeks, including match dates and times

The national first division football championship officially kicks off today, featuring two southeastern teams, Skënderbeu and Pogradeci. Both teams aim to earn promotion to the top tier and will start the season with home matches.

Skënderbeu plays its opening match against Burrel on Saturday evening, August 23, at 20:00 at the “Skënderbeu” Stadium. Pogradeci starts a day later, on Sunday, August 24, hosting Lushnja at home in the final match of the first week.

The second week will take place on August 30–31. Pogradeci plays away against Iliria on August 30, while Skënderbeu concludes the second week with a match on August 31, starting at 17:00.

After today’s opening matches and two days of rest, Skënderbeu will focus on Burrel, and Pogradeci on Lushnja.
