SKËNDERBEU, winter transfer moves expected / A calm transfer window for the winter champions!

For two days now, the year 2025 has officially ended for Skënderbeu—a year that appears to have been positive in its second half, as in the First Category, with 40 points in 17 rounds, Skënderbeu is very close to promotion to the Super League.

These positive results have closed out the cycle of this year. Meanwhile, during this period and throughout the entire month of January, the winter transfer window is open, which means Skënderbeu is ready to make some moves.

Most likely, no departures are expected from Skënderbeu, while a possible addition is anticipated, given the fact that the club’s presidency intends to further strengthen the team to be certain of promotion to the Super League.

However, the possibility is not ruled out that there may also be signings that will serve the team once it has been promoted to the Super League. It is already known that over the last two transfer windows, the red-and-white squad has brought in players on contracts of three years or more.

In the coming days, players are also expected to leave for the year-end holidays, although in fact the break is short and there is little time, as on January 10 Skënderbeu is scheduled to play a Cup match against Tirana.
