Meteorologist Tanja Porja said that most of December will be characterized by stable atmospheric conditions, with temperatures above the seasonal average and a lack of precipitation until December 17–18.
Porja emphasized that during the first 20 days of the month, the weather will be “completely comfortable,” with temperatures higher than normal. In Tirana, the thermometer is expected to reach 19–21°C at midday, about 3–4 degrees above the usual December average of around 16–17°C.
Regarding precipitation, the meteorologist said there are no signs of rain until mid-month, while after December 17–18 a gradual change is expected.
The true activation of atmospheric activity may occur in the last ten days of December, which coincides with the year-end holidays. Porja left open the possibility of rain and snow around December 20–24, although she stressed that it is still too early for an accurate forecast for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
