The 37-year-old Albanian Artur Cerria has been sentenced to 14 years and 2 months in prison for the murder of his compatriot, 38-year-old Dritan Xhepaxhiu, also known as Idrizi.
According to Italian media, the court acquitted his 24-year-old nephew, Agron Cerria, who had been charged with concealing evidence, specifically for disposing of the knife used in the incident. The serious event occurred on August 7, 2024, in Tavullia, Italy, where Dritan Xhepaxhiu lost his life after being stabbed.
Artur Cerria had admitted responsibility for the murder, while the prosecution classified the act as intentional homicide. Xhepaxhiu was stabbed four times, one of which was fatal as it struck his heart.
