Strong winds knock down a pine tree overnight; a vehicle crashes after the road is blocked

The strong winds that swept through the city of Vlora yesterday evening and during the night hours caused damage.

Around 4:00 a.m., in the Pylli i Sodës area, a large pine tree was knocked down due to the powerful winds, completely blocking the road leading to the village of Zvernec.

As a result of the fallen tree, a vehicle traveling along that stretch of road collided with the pine lying across the roadway.

Only material damage was reported from the accident, and fortunately no one was injured.

Firefighters from Vlora immediately arrived at the scene, cutting and removing the pine from the road and making it possible to restore traffic on that route.
