Surprise inspections at the Municipality, SSACOC collects materials from the institution’s offices

The Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) carried out a control operation this Tuesday at the premises of the Tirana Municipality, as part of an ongoing investigation.

According to sources, during the investigative actions, checks were conducted in the institution’s offices, while materials and documents were also seized, which are expected to assist the investigation process.

At this stage, the Special Prosecution Office has not disclosed which specific case the operation is related to, while there is still no information on whether there are individuals under investigation or whether other procedural measures have been taken.

Sources indicate that investigative actions are continuing, and after their completion, SSACOC is expected to issue an official statement clarifying the details of the operation and the subject of the investigation.
