Temperatures drop / Today’s weather forecast: clear skies across the entire territory

The Military Meteorological Service announced that on Sunday, our country will be affected by the same meteorological conditions that have accompanied us in recent days, as a result of the penetration of relatively humid air masses of northwestern origin.

The weather is expected to be clear in the central part of the country and along the Western Lowlands, with alternating moderate to dense clouds, more pronounced in the north and east of the territory.

Light rain showers, in the form of drizzle and of a local character, are expected during midday and afternoon hours, mainly in the south and east of the country.

Snowflakes will be present on the mountain peaks in the north and east of the country.

The wind will blow lightly from the northeast-northwest direction at an average speed of 2-7m/s, while in valley areas and along the coastline, it will occasionally reach speeds of 5-12m/s. Wave height in the Adriatic and Ionian seas will be low, ranging from 1 to 2 on the Beaufort scale.

During evening and morning hours, as well as during precipitation, visibility will be reduced due to the presence of fog and mist, mainly in valley areas.

Air temperatures will decrease in both minimum and maximum values, fluctuating from -4°C in the northeastern areas to a maximum of 15°C expected in the southwestern part of the territory.
