The draw for the Cup of Albania is made / Here's how and with whom Skënderbeu will face...!

The Cup of Albania will start its journey on September 27 and will have a pre-eliminator and an eliminator, that is, with a new formula.

The following will participate in the elimination stage:

a. 4 (four) qualified teams from the preliminary phase;

b. 10 (ten) teams of "Abissnet Superiore" season 22/23

c. 14 (fourteen) teams of the First Category season 22/23;

d. 6 (six) teams ranked in 1st (first), 2nd (second), 3rd (third), 4th (fourth), 5th (fifth) and 6th (six) Second Category Group A season 22/23; e. 6 (six) teams ranked 1 (first), 2 (second), 3 (third), 4 (four), 5 (fifth) and 6 (six) Second Category Group B season 22/23; The matches of the Tour 1/32, 1/16 and 1/8 will take place with 1 (one) meeting.

The ¼ and ½ Tour matches will take place with 2 (two) meetings. The rules provided in article 28, points a,b,c,d,e will apply to all Albanian Cup matches. The away goal rule is no longer valid if the goal difference is the same.

A. FIRST PRE-ELIMINATORY ROUND

• The team ranked 7th in Cat. II Group A will face the champion team of the Third Category.

• The team ranked 8th in Cat.II Group A will face the team ranked 9th in Cat.II Group A

Murlani-Gramshi

• The team ranked 7th in Cat. II Group B will face the team ranked 10th in Cat. II Group B

Shkumbini-Albanet

• The team ranked 8th in Cat.II Group B will face the team ranked 9th in Cat.II Group B

Delvina-Maliqi

• To determine the teams listed in places B13, B14, B15 and B16, lots will be drawn after the preliminary round.

• In the event that during the "play out" matches 22/23 the team of the Second Category will be relegated to the Third Category, the place to participate in the preliminary round of the Cup of Albania will be taken by the finalist team of the third category.

e. Fifth Round – To determine the quarter finalist pairs, a free draw is made between the 8 (eight) qualified teams in this round. Qualified teams E1, E2, E3 and E4 will be in pot no. 1, while qualified teams E5, E6, E7 and E8 will be in pot no. 2. The first matches will take place in the field of the teams positioned in pot no. 2. The matches are played with a round-trip system, with two meetings.

p. Sixth round – To determine the semi-finalist pairs, a free draw is made between the 4 (four) qualified teams in this round. The matches are played with a round-trip system, with two meetings.

g. Albanian Cup Final – The host team for the final match of the Albanian Cup will be determined by a free draw. The stadium where the Albanian cup final will take place will be determined by the AFL.
