The holy month of Ramadan / The “Ebu Beker” Mosque in Pogradec launches a special initiative: Free bread for families in need

A special initiative has been undertaken by the “Ebu Beker” Mosque in Pogradec, where throughout the month of Ramadan, free bread is being provided to around 100 families facing economic difficulties.

Regardless of religious belief, anyone experiencing financial hardship can go to the bakery located on Hospital Road to receive bread.

The mosque’s imam, Mirel Mazelli, stated that this is a modest initiative aimed at helping those in need.

“The worshippers of the ‘Ebu Beker’ Mosque showed solidarity and collected modest funds for people in need. We decided that at a bakery in the city, anyone who needs it can go and receive their daily portion. This has been one of the most beautiful initiatives during the blessed month of Ramadan,” said Imam Mirel Mazelli.

He further called on believers, during these final days of Ramadan, to give to poor families and those in need.
