Today is the final deadline for applications to the National Agricultural Support Scheme

The Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development (AZHBR) announced that today marks the deadline for applications to the 2026 National Agricultural Support Scheme, following the extension approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

According to ARD, applications for all support measures will be accepted until 4:30 p.m.

The scheme includes financial support for livestock farming, beekeeping, sows and gilts, biological control, organic farms, Global G.A.P. certification, cultivated land areas, as well as restocking of inland waters.

The scheme also supports investments for young farmers, the construction of livestock shelters, and the mechanization of agriculture.

ARD has urged farmers to submit their applications before the deadline, explaining that applications for direct support measures must be submitted through the e-Albania portal, while applications for investment measures require physical documentation to be delivered to the agency's central offices.

Initially, the application deadline was set for June 26, but the Ministry decided to extend it until July 6 to allow as many farmers as possible to complete the application process.

The application process for the 2026 National Agricultural Support Scheme began on May 25, giving farmers the opportunity to apply for a wide range of support measures aimed at increasing production, modernizing farms, and promoting the sustainable development of the agricultural sector.
