Touching message from Joan Zuko’s mother: Goodbye, my son, you will remain my breath!

A short while ago, the mother of Joan Zuko, the 20-year-old who tragically lost his life two days ago in Korçë, shared a heartbreaking post on her official Facebook page, expressing her immense pain over the loss of her son.

A pain that is difficult to put into words, especially when it comes to losing a child in the prime of his youth. Joan Zuko was killed at just 20 years old, leaving behind family members, friends, and loved ones devastated by the tragedy that shook Korçë.

The tragic incident occurred on the afternoon of August 8 in the city, when a conflict between several people ended with the use of a firearm. Joan Zuko was killed, while the incident was followed by a large-scale police operation to identify and apprehend the suspected perpetrator.

According to reports, the young man was chased following the conflict and was shot inside an apartment building, dying at the scene. The incident left the community shocked and deeply saddened by the loss of a 20-year-old who had his whole life ahead of him.

Today, two days after the tragedy, the greatest pain remains that of his family. Joan’s mother’s message comes at a moment when words seem insufficient to describe the emptiness left behind by her son.

“With my heart shattered and with the greatest pain a mother’s soul can bear, unable to respond to everyone, we inform you that on August 11, at 12:00, we will say our final goodbye to my youngest son, the light of his mother’s eyes.

My son, you will remain forever my breath, my greatest love, and the most precious part of my heart.

Mom will never forget you and will carry you within her soul until her final breath.

Rest in peace, Mommy’s angel!”
