Transported timber without a permit – 47-year-old faces criminal charges in Maliq

Another violation of the law on forest protection has been reported by the Maliq Police. Crime Investigation Specialists at the Maliq Police Station have referred the case materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, where criminal proceedings have been initiated against citizen N. H., 47 years old, resident of Libonik.

This individual was caught by police officers transporting 6 cubic meters of timber, cut illegally, in violation of the law protecting forest resources. The timber was immediately seized as material evidence.

The police emphasize that they will continue intensive patrols across the entire territory to prevent and punish any illegal cases of tree cutting and timber transport, thereby protecting natural wealth and the environment. Authorities urge citizens to respect the current legislation and report similar cases.
